Take me to:
Join the Rice Business community for a morning filled with purpose, connection, and a little bit of magic at The Faris Foundation—an organization inspired by Faris Virani, whose nickname was “JuJu,” and whose spirit of generosity continues to guide everything they do. The Virani family’s connection to Rice, including the Virani Undergraduate School of Business, makes this gathering an especially meaningful opportunity to come together in service.
Together, alumni, students, and friends will take part in a Good JuJu Party—a hands-on volunteer experience where creativity meets compassion. Rooted in The Faris Foundation’s mission to bring brighter days and better treatments for children with cancer, this experience invites you to decorate and wrap personalized care packages, each one thoughtfully created to deliver comfort, encouragement, and a moment of light during treatment.
Inspired by Faris’ belief to “Always Give Love,” these moments of service come together to create something truly meaningful—spreading Good JuJu to children and families facing childhood cancer, while strengthening our connection as a community driven by purpose.
After the Good JuJu Party, we invite you to stay, share a meal, and continue connecting with fellow members of the Rice Business community.
If you are unable to join us in person, you can still make an impact by purchasing items directly from The Faris Foundation’s wish list to support the children and families they serve.
