Thank you for your interest in making a gift to the SAFE Office. A gift of any amount can greatly impact our students’ experience.
A gift to the SAFE Office will provide funds for emergency support for students who have experienced sexual or relationship violence. Common safety and medical financial needs include but are not limited to forensic exams, STI testing, and medications, transportation to appointments, security equipment, and emergency housing expenses.
A gift to the LGBTQ+ Ally Program provides funding for ongoing Ally Training for faculty, staff and students.
A gift to the Rice Women’s Resource Center will provide funding to purchase food to have for participants at advocacy events, dialogues and other campus events, and keep the office stocked with supplies students use frequently/obtain from the Center. Funds are also used to put on performance pieces, shows, and for art supplies to create the RWRC’s monthly student run Zine.
The STRIVE (Students Transforming Rice into a Violence Free Environment) Gift Fund will be used to provide materials for education and awareness events on interpersonal violence and healthy relationships in the residential colleges and among the graduate student community. STRIVE also provides self-care packages for victims/survivors.
