Join us for an executive recruiter panel with Mary Bass, Chad Hesters, David Pruner and Stephen Newton on Thursday, October 1 from 5pm - 7pm CT. Attendees can submit questions for the panelists during registration through September 28. This event is open to current EMBA students and all Jones School alumni.

Mary Bass, Partner at Spencer Stuart
Based in Houston, Mary Bass has more than 20 years of extensive search experience, mainly focused on executive assignments for board directors and broader Energy, Financial Services, Industrial and Life Sciences companies globally. Mary works closely with Women Corporate Directors, a global organization that believes corporations with more women on boards that come from diverse populations will outperform their competitors in bringing higher shareholder value. Mary has served on and chaired the firm's global partner nominations committee. She is also a recipient of the Lou Rieger Quality Award for client service.

Chad Hesters, Managing Parnter at Korn Ferry
Chad Hesters leads the Korn Ferry Projects business in North America and serves as the Managing Partner of the Houston Office.Mr. Hesters has worked extensively with senior  executives, board members, and investors internationally, supporting their talent management needs across a broad spectrum of areas including Board and C-Suite and recruitment, advisory services, executive assessment/succession and critical, volume-based, recruiting projects. Over the course of his career, Mr. Hesters has developed an expertise in working with global sectors marked by complex asset structures and international operating footprints (e.g. natural resources, oil & gas, mining, and agribusiness).

David Pruner, Partner-in-Charge at Heidrick & Struggles
David Pruner is partner-in-charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Houston office and a member of the CEO & Board and Industrial practices. He specializes in the energy sector, focusing on senior executive and board-level searches in the oil and gas industry and on the growing segment of private equity-backed energy firms.David has more than 25 years of significant energy experience. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, he was a senior vice president in consulting and account management for more than a decade at a leading global consulting and research firm for the energy, metals, and mining industries. Before that, he was an executive at Azurix/Enron, The Coastal Corporation, and several other energy firms. 

Stephen Newton, Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates
Stephen Newton heads the firm’s Dallas office and, until recently, also led the Houston office. He is a key member of the CEO & Board Advisory Partners and previously co-led the Financial Services team in the Americas, in addition to numerous other leadership roles in the firm. Steve has decades of experience leading searches for CEOs, COOs and board members of prestigious for-profit and nonprofit organizations, family businesses and public institutions. He works closely with clients across a range of industries andsectors, including but not limited to energy and natural resources, financial services and private equity.
