The panel will be moderated by our very own Assistant Professor Marlon Mooijman - Assistant Professor of Management - Organizational Behavior.
Pietro Milazzo '18 is currently the Geozone Vice President Mexico at Weatherford International Plc. Pietro joined Weatherford as a young professional in 2001. Since then, he has advanced through various roles across the company’s segments and geographies. Prior to his current assignment, Pietro was Vice President Global Business Development and Strategy for Weatherford’s Production Segment. He has also served as Director for Artificial Lift and Production Software and Automation for Latin America, VP Sales and Marketing, Corporate Manager of M&A, and Controller.
Emeka Oyolu '05 is Vice President and Controller for Phillips 66, a diversified energy manufacturing and logistics company. He has approximately 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Oyolu has served in a variety of financial and business roles in the Upstream, Downstream, Midstream and Commercial businesses. He serves on the board of directors of the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Jeremy Smith '95 was the Vice President, Finance for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation until its sale to Occidental Petroleum in 2019. Previously, he served as Director, Investor Relations; Director, Corporate Development; and as Assistant Treasurer, Corporate Finance. In addition, he served as Vice President and Treasurer of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, the general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to joining Anadarko, he served as Assistant Treasurer of Plains Exploration & Production Company (“PXP”) from 2003 to 2006 and as Assistant Treasurer of 3TEC Energy Corporation from 2000 until its sale to PXP in 2003.
Marlon Mooijman is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Jones Graduate School of Business. Marlon studies two important sources of good leadership. His work has been published in leading scientific journals such as Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Nature Human Behavior, Research in Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Besides work, he enjoys bike riding, hiking, drumming, and spending time with his wife and son.
