The 21st "Evening for Rice's Honour" celebrating Rice's continuing success in intercollegiate athletics will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in the ballroom of River Oaks Country Club.
The evening's highlight will be the presentation of the Distinguished Owl Club award to the following individuals for their outstanding support and leadership of Rice Athletics: Elle '00 and Clarke Anderson '01, Brian D. Patterson '84, Karen Hess Rogers '68 (posthumous), Ben Westcott '97, and Willis T. Wilson Jr. '82
This event is again chaired by Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Bucky Allshouse, and honorary chairmen Dr. and Mrs. G. Walter McReynolds.
