The "R" Association, Rice Women's Basketball, and Rice Athletics are thrilled to invite Rice Women's Basketball alumni from ALL eras and teams back to South Main on Friday, February 21st and Saturday, February 22nd for the 2025 Rice Women's Basketball Alumni Reunion Weekend (Honoring the 25th Anniversary of the 2000 WAC Tournament Championship Team)!
Throughout the weekend, we will have a variety of events planned to honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future of the program. You’ll have the chance to relive some of your best memories, meet current players and staff, and create new connections with fellow alumni. Friday, February 21st
Open Practice @ 3 PM
Location: Autry Court in Tudor Fieldhouse | Details: Exclusive invite to watch the current team in action as they prepare for the Rice vs. UTSA matchup!
Facility Tour @ 4 PM
Location: Tudor Fieldhouse | Details: Take a tour of the newly renovated facilities and get a behind-the-scenes look at where the team trains, practices, and develops.
Happy Hour Social + Team Meet & Greet @ 5 PM
Location: The newly renovated Rice Stadium R Room | Details: Wrap up Day 1 at the happy hour social where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks, meet current players and coaching staff, and reconnect with fellow alumni.
Saturday, February 22nd
Complimentary Women's Basketball Alumni Brunch @ 11 AM
Location: Adair Kitchen (5176 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77005) | Details: Enjoy a delicious brunch with fellow alumni and Rice Athletics staff. This is the perfect time to reminisce, share stories, and connect!
Pre-Game Suite Access @ 3 PM
Location: Trauber Suite at Tudor Fieldhouse | Details: Get exclusive pre-game access in the Trauber Suite, where you can mingle with other alumni, enjoy refreshments, and get excited as Rice prepares to take on UTSA.
Rice Women's Basketball vs. UTSA @ 4 PM
Location: Autry Court | Details: Cheer on the current team as they take on UTSA in an exciting matchup. Show your support for the Owls as they battle it out on the court in front of a passionate crowd.
Note: Rice Women's Basketball alumni can redeem a ticket with their R Card. Guest tickets can be purchased HERE. If you are in need of a new R Card, it will be available for pickup during the reunion weekend.
Women's Basketball Alumni On-Court Recognition
Location: Autry Court | Details: As part of the game festivities, we’ll be honoring all Rice Women's Basketball alumni with a special on-court recognition during a timeout. It’s your chance to be celebrated in front of the current team and fans!
