On April 2, Rice’s beloved Beer Bike returned in largely pre-pandemic form: races, water balloon fights and all.

After a modified version in 2021 and the event’s first-ever cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19, Beer Bike 2022 saw the joyous return of crowds of Rice community members cheering on the residential college bike teams, as well as the epic pre-race water balloon fight and parade.
