UPCOMING EVENTS

Rice Parents Council | October 2-3, 2026
The Fall Parents Council will begin early Friday evening with a reception hosted by President DesRoches at Wiess President's House. The formal program will run Saturday morning through lunchtime, culminating with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen, a premier 20,000-square-foot undergraduate innovation space. Full program details will be posted in early August.

A discounted hotel block has been reserved for Parent Council members at Blossom Hotel Houston. Book your room by September 3. Blossom Hotel offers onsite dining options and is located 2 miles from campus.
