It’s hard to believe that it’s already been over a month since we watched the Class of 2025 cross the stage, ready to take on new adventures. While saying goodbye to our graduating seniors is always bittersweet, we're excited for their next chapter as alumni and encourage them to stay connected with their alma mater.

Rice University conferred more than 2,900 degrees to its newest graduates — the most in the university’s history — during its 112th commencement weekend held May 9-10.
|
The university is extending its growth to approximately 5,200 undergraduate students by 2028, which will amount to a 30% increase since 2020. The current graduate population of 4,100 is also set for significant growth, coupled with the growth in faculty.

Hundreds of students, staff, faculty and alumni joined together to celebrate a new 75,000-square-foot facility, made possible by generous gifts from the Moody Foundation and The Brown Foundation, which will anchor a newly envisioned student hub at the heart of campus.
